We discussed the highlighter of #139 today. There are two main components:
Multiply width by 4
Turn on transparency (12.5% opacity!)
I'm thinking about two toggles in the attributes bar, one for each of these.
[ ] A "4x width" toggle button would let you access an upper register of line widths. (It would change the meaning of each width-setting button to 4x their value.) Ditto for 2x?
[x] A transparency toggle button would set to 50% transparency (say), and also bring up a few more buttons for additional transparency amounts (e.g. 25% and 75%, or more). See #25.
But it still might be annoying to have to click both of these to get into a highlighter mode. Perhaps there should still be a highlighter toggle in the mode menu that turns both of these on/off?
