Scrolling is slow and occasionally hangs #183

When using macvim on my core duo macbook with Leopard 10.5.7, scrolling
with the mouse wheel seems to be really laggy. It speeds up after I've
moved about a page or so, but if I've been typing, the lag is about 1-2
seconds before the page moves...

I was using one of the old versions of macvim (carbon) previously with some
custom-compiled extensions before, and this problem never came up.

Which version are you using? The "stable" build is much slower than the
snapshot (which is also quite stable).

Some syntax highlighters are quite slow too...especially in conjunction with
'cursorline' option enabled. If you
use this option you should try running without it.

I tried out the latest snapshot, and it seems to fix the problem completely -
also
everything seems much faster, like you said.
Thanks!
