MacVim won't work with perl support enabled #210

Hi,
I'm trying to compile the latest version with Perl support enabled, but
after the build is thru, I run MacVim.app and no windows can be opened,
just like when "--enable-gui=macvim" is not selected. I took off the
--enable-perlinterp option and then it works fine.

I used to have a MacVim version I compiled from 3-4 months back that worked
like a charm with perl support, so I don't think it's related to my machine.

Unfortunately a few days back MacVim asked me in a dialog box if I wanted
to upgrade to the latest version and I answered "yes" and that installed a
binary with no Perl support. Dope!

BTW, the repo.or.cz server is down, but I guess you already know that.

cheers,
   Rodrigo Gonzalez

I've just realized that I was using my own perl version in /opt/perl. I
reverted back
to Leopard's own perl and everything started working just fine. Strange...

It is not too strange: if there is some problem running the Vim process then no
window will appear. (MacVim runs one process for the GUI and each window is a
separate Vim process.)

I'm glad you sorted it out.
