A while ago the colors were changed in the snapshot build because they did not
match the RGB.txt file from
Unix. It could be that is is what you are seeing. Snapshot 43 is the latest
snapshot which _does_not_ include
changes to the color file. Please try downloading that and see if it looks the
same as the stable build -- if so,
then that is the problem.

Ok. I have had other reports of colors looking too bright and I have a
potential fix in mind. I'll try and remember
to report back here once I've tried it out.
In the meantime: you can copy the file
"MacVim.app/Contents/Resources/Colors.plist" from the stable build into
the snapshot and the colors will go back to normal. (You'll have to quit and
restart first though.)

Try enabling the "experimental renderer" in the Advanced preferences in
snapshot 51. Does that improve the
colors?
