Thanks for showing interest in helping out with MacVim.  At this point in time 
MacVim is not quite ready for 
localization but it is something that is on my todo list.  When it is ready I 
will announce it on the vim_mac 
mailing list, so keep an eye on that list.

For future reference:
- menus are translated inside Vim (look inside "$VIMRUNTIME/lang")
- when translating GUI dialogs (such as the preferences), pay attention to the 
alignment of text labels, 
buttons, etc.
- there are strings inside MacVim (such as the warning dialog when you quit 
MacVim with several open 
windows) that will need to be translated (this cannot be done at the moment 
though)
