It seems MacVim isn't compiled with python support? -- I can't seem to be
able to use any of my python plugins like code completion and others :(

I do compile with Python support.  To verify this, type ":ver" in MacVim and 
look for +python in the list of 
features.  If you can't get your plugins to work, please post to the vim_mac 
mailing list and you're sure to get 
help (I probably can't help you much with such queries).
