Google Font Directory makes websites dissappear in IE8 #6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the attached test case in IE8.
2. The webpage will not render. A blank white screen will be displayed.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect the page to display. I instead see a blank white page.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I am using Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7 Ultimate.

Please provide any additional information below.

Putting IE in quirks mode, removing the @font-face declaration, or
removing the styles that follow the @font-face declaration all seem to
resolve the problem.

Use Google's API instead, that should handle any and all issues with the
correct (way of) font loading.

As #c1 says, you definitely shouldn't be inlining CSS with direct kit
references - this not only breaks the browser detection, it also uses URL
references which are not guaranteed to be stable. Using the API as documented
should resolve all problems, so closing this report as invalid.
