Some UI suggestions

As promised to b5, here are some UI suggestions for the app that have come up over the course of a couple events and my own work with the app:

• "reveal" arrows next to each larger category (harvest, research, etc) that will toggle between side and downward facing to show people they click on the header to reveal the fields underneath
• have "search" inside the search box or some text next to the search box that would indicate you can use it to search for specific datasets (both by UUID + url text)
• have a "legend" somewhere that would explain the row of icons on the list of UUIDs page (especially that ! = priority)
• text next to the checkbox to make that a more prominent feature of people's attention (we've had to go back and ask people to check the box because they didn't follow the initial directions closely enough)

Below are some suggestions from the event I ran last week.

• Ability to sort by UUID, URL, and user
• Upon log in, it's better to take user directly to URLs page instead of profile page which has barely anything in it
• Not priority, but eventually a search function in Events page would be helpful

Speaking of UI, who's helping develop that? Do you have any UX/UI designers working with you? If not, I'd be happy to contribute. My day job is UX designer at Motorola.
