@dcwalk Feel free to alter this or move it someplace else. It's just a proposal based on my experience using linters.

I dig your comments, and think they are great. I'm more wondering if/how much we could fold into project guidelines? Gonna try a wee inclusion in #92

Okay, I think lets leave the linting guidelines separate for now as this, and revisit pulling them into the project guidelines as we go through the process of formalizing the web-monitoring project. Then we'll know the way we want to talk about it cross-language/frameworks...?
