In particular, when using Lispworks for Android (and probably iOS), the EDITOR package is unavailable.

Btw, the :lw-editor feature appears to be undocumented, but seems to behave the way I would expect it to on LW-7.1.2. If it does fail (probably in older LW versions), it wouldn't have any drastic effects on behavior here anyway.
