I can't seem to find anything about License: https://github.com/edin/raytracer/search?q=License

I would like to incorporate some of the code here but I don't know if I can.

There are 14 forks, but I don't know if they are allowed.

I've added MIT license from GitHub template, but I am not very much familiar with licenses.

MIT is a good choice. I use it for my projects.
