upload a help document in survey designer #41

in survey designer should be a new widget called Link which allows users to create a link in a survey to some supporting document (pdf).

  1. user adds pdf link widget to survey
  2. user clicks upload button and selects file to upload
  3. user enters link text
  4. user enters a label

in the form the JSON from the editor file is rendered as an anchor so something like:

<div .. normal boilerplate..> <label for=:link-unique_id">Get instructions on how to use this for by clicking on link below" instructions (pdf)

Open questions. 1/ should the app try to open pdf within the application or open a separate application?
