Disabling the extension is a workaround for now

Disabling definitely works, however I'm exploring a couple of ways to doing something a bit cleaner...

One nice idea might be a toggle per-domain, since it seems most sites are rolling out their AMP support on a per-domain basis (I know NYT has the redirects on their canonical articles, but their AMP pages are still 403ing).

I feel like the simplest possible interface (click the extension icon to go back to the canonical article) might even work for 99% of the use cases.

This would be my preferred approach.

Another nice way would be to add a keyboard shortcut.
