The site won't load for 1.1mins on chromium. Only tested in chromium. Works fine on my phone.

Bmi.js isn't part of our site... could you give more info please?

Taiiwo commented 11 years ago

The error doesn't happen when going directly to thescoop.io/index.html, so that may mean it's an apache bug. All I know is that it's trying to connect to 'http://1.2.3.4/bmi-int-js/bmi.js?version=1363970337', it fails after 1.1m every time, it has no type, it's indicator is thescoop.io/:1 and is labeled as 'Parser'.

Did a google search on bmi.js and it looks like its do to with mobile broadband. Providers inject some javascript to compress images etc.

Not sure of the extent of this bug

Works fine on my home PC too (Running chromium on linux also). I wonder if it's specific to the Ubuntu flavour of chromium.

Hmmm thanks for raising this. Seems like a very bizarre bug. Have you disabled extensions and tried it? On 12 Aug 2013 12:41, "bleko" notifications@github.com wrote:

Were you tethering?

I believe bmi.js is part of an extension your browser is trying to load. Could you check that out? bmi.js is not included anywhere in our site.

That's what I thought On 12 Aug 2013 20:15, "Samuel Hönle" notifications@github.com wrote:

All the extensions are synced from my Google account, so they are the same, and I was on my home WiFi. Very odd. On 12 Aug 2013 20:59, "edlongman" notifications@github.com wrote:
