The Financial Industry Business Ontology (FIBO) defines the sets of things that are of interest in financial business applications and the ways that those things can relate to one another. In this way, FIBO can give meaning to any data (e.g., spreadsheets, relational databases, XML documents) that describe the business of finance.
Eliminated some redundant properties from the CDOs ontology (not all), and
Eliminated the notion of 'creditworthiness' and 'creditworthiness selection' in favor of 'credit quality' and a number of named individuals representing various terms for credit quality that are widely used (and were previously included in the datatype that was called 'creditworthiness selection'), and moved these concepts to CreditRatings given that they apply more broadly
