The Financial Industry Business Ontology (FIBO) defines the sets of things that are of interest in financial business applications and the ways that those things can relate to one another. In this way, FIBO can give meaning to any data (e.g., spreadsheets, relational databases, XML documents) that describe the business of finance.
There are a number of equations, formulas, and other terms remaining in the exotic options ontology that are missing definitions, and may be overly specified (too many levels of indirection). These should be addressed so that we can get closer to releasing the exotic options ontology.
Definitions from the CFI standard should also be added where they exist.
