The Financial Industry Business Ontology (FIBO) defines the sets of things that are of interest in financial business applications and the ways that those things can relate to one another. In this way, FIBO can give meaning to any data (e.g., spreadsheets, relational databases, XML documents) that describe the business of finance.

DER-134 - Support for Certificates #1913

Description

This resolution addresses a gap in our derivatives representation with respect to certificates. Certificates are popular in the European market and are structured instruments. To address them, a new ontology has been added that extends the content we have in PoolBackedSecurities and adds a number of variations for equity as well as debt-based structured instruments.
