Upload files get new resource ID assigned #35

I have a group of daily spreadsheets I want to upload from my server. All I
want to do is replace the doc already in google docs. Although the name of the
file remains the same and the data is updated, the resource ID changes each
time and can no longer be referenced programmatically in a gadget.

Also, is there a way to return the resource ID that is assigned?

Yes, there is a way to return the resource ID. I will add this in the next
version of the tool.

I will also try to find out, if it is possible to keep the same resource ID
when a document is reuploaded.

Hello.

So this issue has been fixed where the update does not create a new resource
I'd?

Thanks
