Search and Advanced search interface is confusing #164

Hi, I’m looking at production website, maybe it’s been fixed.

If you click Advanced in top menu, a modal window opens with title “Advanced Search”. It has two tabs: Basic (active) and Advanced. I find it confusing that clicking on Advanced opens Basic.

Related things that I find confusing:

it’s not clear that “Advanced” actually means “Advanced search”.
the button glued to a text input usually means that the button performs some action with this input. In this case the button ignores the input.
