This issue tracker is intended to provide an easy way for people to manage the various sub-projects of the New Trier High School class of 1967's 50th reunion.
In order to contribute to this page, you will need a GitHub account. This page tells you how to sign up. Please email me at edreamleo@gmail.com if you have any problems doing so.
This project could use a Google Group like Leo's Forum, but recently projects have started to use GitHub issue trackers (like this one) for all of their communications. The advantage of using an issue tracker is that individual issues can be labelled and closed when they are complete. Furthermore, GitHub issue trackers are flexible, easy to manage and good looking.
Flexible: There is no need to noodle out some grand overall organization of items. We can just create items as needed and assign one or more people to each item. We can have items for individuals on this committee, projects (from large or small), goals, timelines, whatever. Each item can have its own thread of conversation. The creator of an item (and possibly others, I'm not sure) can edit the name or contents of the issue at any time.
Easy to manage:
Good looking: You can use Markdown to format any item. This allows you to add emphasis, checklists, and links(URLs). Whenever you write anything, there is a "Preview" pane that shows what your final result will look like.
