It does not show of file transfer status. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
While transferring file it shall show sending or receiving status.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
On ubuntu 11.04 iptux0.5.1

I just never meet the problem you get.Can you run the iptux in terminal,and 
save the out put of iptux ,and catch a picture of the transmission windows 
while transmitting files. So I can guess why the problem happen.

Actually what I am suggesting it is not a bug or error , It is an
enhancement. When we transfer/receive some file we don't know how much time
is remaining. That is status, at the end we get a sound notification of
successful transfer. It would be better with this feature.

I see. The "Tools" --> "Transmission " menu show you the file transmission 
status.
