To have a starting point for our work we need to define what is the most basic model of a bd/comics/manga.

The answer may be part of the introduction of a future spec.

I'd also like to point out that EPUB 2.x/3.x fails to do the bare minimum:

we're not allowed to use images (bitmaps) in the spine
while scroll-continuous could work for Webtoons, it's not truly designed for that and would likely impact the UI in most readers
many core metadata for BD/comics/manga are missing
