Thorium has slow responsiveness when installed as an Appimage on Linux Ubuntu #124

I installed the Appimage on my system and launched. Any kind of interaction from clicking on buttons, accessing menus, scrolling or navigating an ePub, takes a good 5-10 seconds, the program is very sluggish and I don't know why.

My Operating System:

Yes, the issue is documented there: Thorium does not work on some versions of Linux distributions #2519

Hello, Thorium is packaged automatically by Electron Builder to distribute on Windows, Linux, Mac OS. I expect that as we update the build process software dependencies, Thorium will automatically benefit from the latest and greatest tech available.
