Hi! Regarding the hm.edu
users. Right now we only enforce it inside the IT department since our internal rollout portal was not ready for every user.
We plan to extend the rollout for all members and enforce the usage of MFA for everyone in the near future. Afterwards we also will extend the number to aprox. 20000
I know it from several other instituions listed here that they already enforce the usage of MFA for everyone so the numbers will prop. cover the real usage.
I'm not arguing against all the data, the one that cached my eye most was Oslo. Oslo lists 30k Users (should be their total number members) and Status as Evaluation (and nobody enforces usage of a system for the full user base without having it production ready). Kinda the same with Landshut.
We are aware of the issue of userCount
description might not be 100% clear and misleads users in sharing their potential user count. The intended use is for actual users with tokens enrolled on eduMFA. The initial decision was to leave everything as it is for the time being. But we plan to discuss this issue in the next meeting and update the data accordingly.
The userCount description should be more precise. The README.md and hm.edu numbers make it sound like the active user count (users with tokens), but most other Numbers kinda look like a total count of Users that could potentially add a Token
