Bottom status bar of a new window has default purple colour #4

I think this one is an oversight and you want it to copy the background colour, as most themes do. Opening a directory turns the status bar to the background color.

Sorry for creating so many issues, hopefully it'll be helpful if they are documented here 😄. I really enjoy your theme and would like to daily drive it, maybe I'll try to fix some of it myself when I have some more spare time.

Can be fixed on the dark version by "statusBar.noFolderBackground": "#211E1B"

Will create a PR for it when I can.
