Issue related https://github.com/eduqg/LifeToRemind/issues/13 I've just set variables to the method But it will be better to use different layouts, check this one https://github.com/plataformatec/devise/wiki/How-To:-Create-custom-layouts I tried to do it but you have 2 navbars, you should keep only one.
