OS: macOS 10.15.3 (19D76) App: Version 2.1.4 (730) Viscosity: 1.8.4 (1528)

Steps

  1. Install eduVPN application;
  2. Use eduVPN application;
  3. Everything works peachy;
  4. Install Viscosity;
  5. Use Viscosity at least once;
  6. Fully close Viscosity;
  7. Try to use eduVPN app;

What Happens?

When going back to eduVPN application it does not want to connect anymore. The UI stays in a "loop" trying to connect, but then fail and try again, indefinitely;

What Should Happen?

Either connect properly, or provide an error message indicating what is wrong exactly.

I could not reproduce the issue with:

macOS 10.15.4 (19E287) eduVPN 2.1.4 (730) and eduVPN build 825 Viscosity 1.8.5 (1537)

Everything seems to work as it should.

@fkooman Does this issue still exist in your case? If it does, what does Console.app say when filtering for eduVPN and while trying to connect again with eduVPN?

I solved it by deleting the eduVPN app and rebooting ;-)

But after installing it again some time later the problem did not reoccur... So no idea...

I guess we can close it :)
