high cpu load #316

Sometimes the eduVPN has a high cpu load. Noticeable because the fan starts blowing. When viewing "activity monitor" the eduVPN process seems to do 55% CPU. I have no explanation because there is hardly any network traffic. In the App log I only see Ping messages: 2020-06-23 12:55:28.854 DEBUG OpenVPNSession.ping():563 - Send ping 2020-06-23 12:55:38.854 DEBUG OpenVPNSession.ping():563 - Send ping

In console I've obtained this information while searching for process eduVPN high_cpu_consolelog_process_eduVPN.txt

Maybe this gives a clue why sometimes there is a high cpu load.

@efef If we're not seeing this issue with the redesigned app, can we close this issue?
