Secure Internet server selection adds an unnecessary sub menu to the selection process #416

Hello,

currently one can only have a single secure Internet location on the main screen of the app, changing this location requires the user to open a sub-menu (change location), where the destination can be changed to a different location.

The app only uses 1/3 of the available screenspace and hides additional servers behind a sub-menu. I think an improvement could be to have all secure Internet locations available on the main screen and then use a settings menu to hide locations one is not interested in.

Additionally, one could then add a toggle button, to turn the connection on or off, and tapping the country would open up the screen with additional infos (similar to the WireGuard iOS app)

Hello,

Thanks for you suggestion. At this moment we notice that the so called "secure internet" usecase, which enables the country switching, is hardly being used. Most organisations use eduVPN because of working from home and getting access to the home organisation (institute access).

There are also users that have access to more than one institute access and/or non-registered eduVPN servers. In that case the GUI is pretty much filled.

We are trying to make all apps (windows, linux, android, ios, macos) have more or less the same look & feel. So a GUI change request should also be implemented on other apps.

At the moment we'd like to focus on implementing WireGuard in both eduVPN clients as server.
