I agree with @avicaplan that the department and title are a little confusing when they are jammed together on the same line without any punctuation. I’m not inclined to use a |
character because it can be confused with an uppercase letter I
. And the /
character feels janky to me too.
Here are two alternatives for formatting the title and department we could try:
1] Phrase the title and department as a sentence, like this:
2] Place the title and department on newlines, like this:
I prefer option 2 with the title and department on newlines. I find it easiest to scan the list for department and job titles in that format.
Between these, my vote goes for option 2 as well. It's a pain to have to look for the "at" when scanning the line for the organization. If everything stays on one line, there needs to be a more noticeable divider. Putting a symbol like | in grey could work.
Suggest adding some punctuation in the autocomplete results between organization and title. Maybe > or | or /.
