  1. Code and documentation review 1 – current systems – from Majid, an overview of the whole Seshat site and database structure setup, how it all works. In particular, talking about how the user login system and current processes for handling edits, how data is modified and stored etc. This would generate some discussion I think. I will try to understand this a bit better myself in advance.
  2. Code and documentation review 2 – ongoing improvements - Mostly Ed, with some input from Majid – initial work on infrastructure reproducibility, code testing etc and what I think we can improve here. I’m sure others from Turing will have suggestions.
  3. GIS/Map work part 1 (first half of that 2hr afternoon slot) – creating the dataset – from Jim – detailing methods and progress, future work.
  4. GIS/Map work part 2 – Ed, talking about the world map and polity map pages, chance to demo the functionality and let people play around, make suggestions, discuss plans for future.
  5. Future database plans – Majid – Talk about what the plans are currently, in the context of having explained the current setup/processes the previous day. Opportunity for technical suggestions on database design in discussion as well as what new data will be added.
