Major FPS reduction using this module #203

I LOVE this module but I have to disable it for now. My players and myself have all noticed major performance impacts. I started using the FVTT FPS tracker (module) and I drop from 60FPS to 15-18 (consistently, not spiking) when using this module. If this is fixable, I'd love to use this module again as it greatly improve immersion. :/

hey @ghoulapool can you try the latest test version? I made some major architectural changes and I hope that you will see a noticeable performance improvement. Would be interesting to test in any case.

To grab the test version, uninstall and then manually install the mod using the module.json here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/edzillion/blood-n-guts/dev/src/module.json

Just tested. Uninstalled and then installed w/ that manual manifest. Performance went from 55-60FPS to 14 and then back to 55 as I turned the module on and off. I wiped the blood layer (thinking maybe there was too much?) and it went to around 16 FPS. Not sure that's statistically significant. Maybe this is a problem that only happens for me - don't want to project that there's necessarily something wrong. Thanks for working on this if/when you have time. Cheers!
