In CC2 this is an unwinnable situation unless another monster is present to press the clone machine button, because all inputs from players on a clone machine are ignored. (Though I haven't explicitly confirmed all inputs are ignored, e.g. maybe you can still drop/cycle items.) In LL, you can just make the top-left Lexy face up, then switch to the bottom-right Lexy to clone a Lexy so both can go to the exit. I wouldn't mind this only being a ruleset difference/compat option.
