Hi,
as you may have heard, we're running a community-lead Elixir and
BEAM related conference in Europe next year!
I'm hoping you can help us get started, by sponsoring our inaugural event. Every contribution matters!
It will be in Zagreb, Croatia, on 23-24 February 2024 https://eexconf.org/
with info signup at https://checkout.tito.io/eexconf/zagreb-2024
This is an incredible chance to be involved in something that will grow
over time, to be part of something from their earliest beginnings, and to
give something back to the Elixir community that we're both part of.
There are 3 main things we would love some help with:
- sponsorship of the event
- helping us get the word out
- giving a talk
What's different to the other Elixir conferences already out there?
This one has 3 main differentiators:
- it's being organised *by* the community, *for* the community
- regional, not global, so nobody needs to fly
- accessible in price and access - tickets at €20 mean everybody is welcome, we are working on venue-specific accessibility as well
As we get a better understanding of what's required to host these
events, we plan to run them in 3 locations in Europe, and maybe
elsewhere too, so that people can share in the Elixir and BEAM
adventures, without needing to fly. We expect to reach a significant
portion of the Elixir community over time, whilst still being respectful
of the changing world we live in.
For smaller contributions under €1000, the easiest way is to use
[GitHub sponsors](https://github.com/sponsors/skunkwerks?frequency=one-time&sponsor=skunkwerks),
and for contributions from €1000 upwards, please just reply back
to work something out. We have options to support a social event,
lunch, or conference video recording and streaming as well, or
craft something specific for your requirements.
Thanks in advance for your support, and contributions, to growing
our community-lead conference.
thanks, Dave

This is great. Thanks @dch
I moved your table (it's beautiful, don't get me wrong) to a Project so we can track it like we're tracking the other things. https://github.com/orgs/eexconf/projects/2/views/1
