Warning related to missing audio file #624

Open TheRisenPhoenix opened 3 years ago

I'm playing on the latest version of the main branch, and got a warning message popping up when playing the courthouse mission. PlayStream Error!! File: OfficerRedTwo/r2_ReportedB2Down_3.ogg was not found I checked the sounds-folder for all officers, and it looks like that Blue1/Blue2 have only 2 variants for each officer down, but Red1/Red2 have 3 variants for each officer, except for Red2 reporting Blue2, which again has only two variants. Apparently however, the script assumes 3 possibilities for this option. Am I missing some files? Or is this intentional, and it's a bug with the script, assuming three variants for this option?

Hello  . I'm curious about this as well. Apparently, OfficerRedTwo/r2_ReportedB2Down_3.ogg is also linked in my stock SWAT 4 folder (fresh install, no SEF), and the actual audio file is missing from both stock and SEF folder. I wonder if this is a bug in the original game or something similar?

If that's the case, then I wonder if we could just ship our own OfficerRedTwo/r2_ReportedB2Down_3.ogg audio file to fix this. I believe, the SEF launch script will prioritize SEF stuff (including custom sound files) anyway. The question is, what about the actual audio design? I don't think you could just copy paste existing ones and expect the audio of red two reporting blue two to magically appear. :sob:

You know, I'm sure people could do this with simple audio editing (I just realized about this a moment ago)
