The first line of a CPE file has four integers at the end. What are they exactly? For example for T01d_121210_01.cpe the first line reads: "C:\Users\GEFDAT~1\DOCUME~1\PHOTOQ~1\ALDABR~2.TXT","C:\Users\GEF data entry\Documents\Photoquadrats\leave\T01d\Edited\T01d_121210_01.jpg",48000,36000,11853,8880

It seems it has something to do with the dimensions of the file or something like that.

Those are the parameters for the "bounding box", which is the area on the picture within which CPCe overlays points that are then labelled by the user. I attach a picture showing this. Within the pvc frame, there is a digital drawn frame - so I think that those numbers refer to that. I do not think this is critical for the immediate purposes of analysis, but may be useful to assess the total area that was analysed within a set of photo transect.
