MEV-day videos are down #2

The videos here haven't been loading for at least the past 12 hours https://streameth.tv/event/mev-day

Hi @michelleylai

We noticed one of the (public) gateways that we used was having some issues. We also just pushed an update to show the overview using image thumbnails, instead of trying to load all videos at once.

Having said that, all content is served and hosted from IPFS. So the performance is definitely different compared to more centralized services. We'll continue to monitor and try to improve on this. Thanks for sharing your feedback here on Github

While most videos do load for me (most of the time), the performance and usability of our IPFS archive have not be sufficient, unfortunately. We'll continue to research and try to further optimize.

In the meantime, videos from MEV Day have been uploaded by the Flashbots team at https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRHMe0bxkuel3w3C7P_WVvp9ShLi3HKRI

Closing issue.

IPFS -based archives isn't something we'll continue to support because of performance/usability issues. Currently testing with Swarm/Etherna (as also used on archive.devcon.org)
