Make case studies executable on the website #26

It seems to me the file is correct in the effect repo so maybe its just about updating the submodule or something like that?

I haven't updated the case studies in a long while. We have a conceptual problem of them not being executable since the website MD mode is different from the standalone MD mode.

Hijacking this issue for a long-standing problem: the case studies are not executable on the website right now, and it would be really nice to fix that :)
