In case you don't want to have what you share associated with your IP, you should have the option to anonymize. Yes, this comes at the cost of lower speeds, but the user would decide if it is worth enabling it. Nowadays, libtorrent and vuze already have that option.

I'd be happy to review a patch, if you're up for submitting one, and even help you find your way around the code, if you're not sure where to start, but I don't think I'll have much time to invest in this myself, for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for the heads up, though! I wasn't aware of I2P support in other clients.

Thanks for being open to the idea. I'm noz good with code though. Maybe someone else volunteers. Or give me a yerar to learn how to code, ;)
