As discussed in the thread, here are more reasonable praat settings worse worst case scenario recording from a video: Default These settings

The updated inference settings can be used even with models trained on the old f0 with significant improvement! Also consider: sc for hubert but cc for inference. play around with it a bit

it fixes the f0 mistakes, but at these settings it can cause audible pitch windowing, so it is still a tradeoff. looking into a solution ATM

no pitch windowing with retained benefits when the dataset is preprocessed with the old settings and inference is run with the new settings...
