Pattern recognition will find inside bars on any time frame. The strength of the pattern is determined by how many consecutive inside bars there are.
A flag pattern can be distinguished by at least two inside bars with a previous solid candle going up (bullish) or down (bearish). This flag candle must not be surrounded by inside bars on either side.
