Name & tl;dr

InstantOS is an Arch based Distro with its own custom window manager (which imo at least looks really good and seems to be a hybrid tiling+floating WM) and claims to be a "just works" distro which is an interesting claim for an Arch based Distro

What is the release date or cycle?

Rolling release

Who is the target user?

From their numerous posts on Unixporn, they're certainly making a concerted effort for the Ricer demographic. However, their website reads like they're targeting both new users and powerusers at the same time, which is interesting

What platforms does it support?

x86_64 They claim to be working towards ARM and 32 bit support as well but no idea if those are actually ready

What makes it special?

It has its own Window Manager and aesthetically at least seems very pleasing. Also they claim to be a "just work" distro despite also promising a close to vanilla Arch experience, so I'd love to see whether they deliver there or not
