Get to the bottom of mixture model skepticism #7

Since this project includes RJObject and there'll be a section on it in the paper, we need to sort out our understanding of the skepticism raised by https://github.com/davidwhogg/CombinatoricDegeneracies and, if necessary, put cautionary words in the paper.

If I recall correctly, I convinced Dan that everything is fine with this when I visited him in October. Closing the issue.
