Clannad stops working -- #94

Just started the Clannad, got to the point where Tomoya looks up in the sky after reaching the school gate at which point I hear a sigh (I'd assume Nagisa's?), and then it stops.

The cursor still moves and I still hear audio, but none of the buttons work and the game won't progress

Seems it has to do with the version I'm using
