I don't use ESP-IDF directly myself (I use the interfaces sometimes, but I start with the Arduino runtime) so I don't have such an example handy, alas. If you show me your errors I might be able to help.
Hello,
Thank you for your response. I was finally able to solve my problems using the help of the port of ESP-IDF framework to Arduino IDE.

Hello,
Thank you for all these really helpful instructions!
I am currently using for the first time a WT32-ESP01 and I am encountering a few difficulties to build the source code snipped you shared to enable the Ethernet interface.
Would you accept to share a minimal sample project that enables the Ethernet interface (and eventually request an IP adress through DHCP), using the ESP-IDF framework?
Thank you again for all your help
