Excluding your own hits from SlimStat

Feature request: Excluding yourself from SlimStat via a Cookie was a great
plugin for version 0.9, I'd like to see it integrated in SlimStat 2.

used to have that plugin for the old version and loved it too.

What if you are logged out and visit your own website, would that hit be 
registered
in the stats or excluded?

I liked the plug-in for the previous version where you could set a cookie to 
exclude
yourself from being registered by SlimStat whether you were logged in or not.
Its a shame that this issue has already been closed without being completely
addressed, I think it would be a popular feature.

I agree. I don't know why it's so hard to replicate that.

I mean, yeah. Love slimstat. And I love that it's free.
But this issue is rather necessary, and the fix is less than adequate.

The old way:

1. Log in to SlimStat
2. Click link to set extra cookie
3. Get your hits excluded

The new way:

1. Log in to SlimStat
2. Get your hits excluded

So the new way saves you a step. What's not to like?

You still have to go to a page and set a cookie.

The old way:

1. Log in to SlimStat
2. Click link to set extra cookie
3. Get your hits excluded - forever or until you remove the cookie

The new way:

0. Every time you want to look at a page on your website you must remember to...
1. Log in to SlimStat
2. Get your hits excluded

That's where I see the old plug-in having the advantage, by doing that extra 
step
just once you can save logging in each time you want to visit your own site.

That's not the case. When you log in to SlimStat it sets a cookie:

The cookie lasts for a year, so there is no need to log in to SlimStat every 
time.

I just checked my stats in SlimStat 2.1 (so I was definitely logged in), then I
visited a page on my website (without logging out).

Then I went back into SlimStat and yet there it was, my hit had been registered.

I have cookies enabled for my website, any ideas as to what could be happening 
- my
own hits are still being counted by SlimStat.
