Unremovable "bad blocks" #79

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select the fourth or later block in your current toolset
2. Switch to the last toolset, with the torch, so that you've got an empty 
square selected
3. Save your world before you try this!!
4. Place the bad block
5. You can't remove it! It's stuck there in that spot forever, marring your 
creation!

I just want to know how to remove it. it's in a super inconvenient place :(

Actually you can get rid of it. SOMETIMES when you restart the game it 
disappears and you can place a block(If you dont and restart it comebacks)
