The EPR-SPID as an identifier MAY be added

Amendment 1 of Annex 5 EPRO-FDHA says: (§1.7.1.1, p32)

id [2..2] (M) Patient (SET) Identifiers designated by this patient identity source for the focal person. SHALL convey the patient’s local ID and the EPR-SPID.

The examples (at least 2) have to be updated.

The specifications about MPI-PIDs are obsoletes (they have been removed from Amendment 1 of Annex 5 EPRO-FDHA) and should be removed from the profile:

If the patient is already registered in a community, the MPI-PID SHALL be provided as an identifier.

If the MPI-PID is provided as an identifier the Patient Identifier Cross-reference Manager SHALL use the MPI-PID to correlate the patient in the community.
