Q2 weights from radiative-corrected Pythia6 are not correct #248

Open c-dilks opened 1 year ago

c-dilks commented 1 year ago

Environment: (where does this bug occur, have you tried other environments)

Steps to reproduce: (give a step by step account of how to trigger the bug)

Check the Q2 distributions; this is added to the CI in #246

Expected Result: (what do you expect when you execute the steps above)

A distribution similar to ePIC, not radiative corrected: canv_Q2___histos__finalState_0__ptLab_0__w_0__xF_0__y_0__z_0 epic_arches

Actual Result: (what do you get when you execute the steps above)

Here is ePIC, with radiative corrections enabled: canv_Q2___histos__finalState_0__ptLab_0__w_0__xF_0__y_0__z_0 epic_arches_radcor

See artifacts from https://github.com/eic/epic-analysis/pull/246 for others; the best test is ePIC Arches (since the BryceCanyon files are too big)

@rseidl-rcf are we certain the radcor cross sections are correct?
