why 2.2.0,, is it not backward compatible?

The major version is still 2 on this branch. So yes, it is backwards compatible. The MINOR change is because a new functionality has been added instead of just fixes. And the difference between what is released on 2.x branch and what is merged code (what will be included in this next release) can be seen here: https://github.com/eiffel-community/eiffel-intelligence/compare/2.1.3...2.0.0-maintenance

The major version is still 2 on this branch. So yes, it is backwards compatible. The MINOR change is because a new functionality has been added instead of just fixes. And the difference between what is released on 2.x branch and what is merged code (what will be included in this next release) can be seen here: 2.1.3...2.0.0-maintenance
